There are Scouting events happening all around the work in the next few years - where do you want to go?

The World Organisation of the Scout Movement (www.scout.org ) runs a number of international events:

The next World Scout Jamboree will be held in Sweden in 2011. While Network members will be too old for this, the can still contribute on the International Service Team.

'Moot's are events for 18-26 year olds in Scouting. Moots provide an opportunity for young adults in Scouting to meet together with the objective of improving their international understanding as citizens of the world. The next Moot (the 13th) will be in 2010 in Africa.

These events are some way off but you may consider some of the following opportunites:

  • Kandersteg International Scout Centre (KISC) staff ('pinkies')
  • Staff on one of the big international camps in England.
  • Roverway 2009 - "We meet up North" - in Iceland (16-22 years old). Monday 20th July - Tuesday 28th July 2009, www.roverway.is
